The energy and nutrient requirement of the living organisms vary from species to species. Human being have certain limits, I have tried to compile the recent research of Food Technologists to provide information about the importance of the fruits and meal planning.
DIET is utmost important to human being life.
It is traditional in Pakistan and in especially NORTHERN AREAS to have three meals a day, together with one or more snacks or tea etc. between main meals.
I would like to introduce meal planning.

  BREAKFAST:

This is an important meal of the day but one that is sometimes missed. The body needs food first thing in the morning since it is generally about twelve hours since the last meal. research has shown that people who eat breakfast are more efficient , alert and less accident-prone during the morning than those who do not it is not essential though to have a full cooked breakfast serial and milk toast and marmalade with tea or coffee to drink is sufficient for the majority of people.
Usually in NORTHERN AREAS breakfast comprises tea, bread (chapatti or fity, shoro) butter and some other food components which are available at the moment. Unfortunately people of northern areas do not use fruits in breakfast. Recent research is about use of fruits in breakfast. Good fortunately northern areas are filled with bounty of fruits and so many crops.
Fruits like apple, pear, peach, grapes and dry fruits are proactive component for our health, and increases human smartness and life duration. So by using fruits which are available in our areas we can survive healthy life. Short formula is given below.
Any fruit + bread+ tea + butter =SMART HUMAN BEING = breakfast
 

 MIDDAY MEAL or LUNCH:

For many people this is a cooked ‘meat and two vegetables.’ type of meal eaten in an industrial canteen or at school. However, it is not essential to have a hot midday meal. Cold meals or packed lunches, if carefully planned, can be equally or more nutritious. Sandwiches with fillings of meat, eggs, fish or cheese together with fruit or salad provide the basis of a well-balanced meal.
In NORTHERN AREAS vegetables are available so the people should use vegetable in midday meal along with fruits.
Formula

Bread + energetic food + salad + fruit = DINNER = HEALTHY HUMAN BEING

 SELECTION OF FOODS

It is obviously impractical to calculate in detail the nutrient and energy contents of normal menus. It is important , however , that meals are nutritionally balanced, or at least that the food consumed over the period of a day and certainly over a week should be balanced nutritionally.
One of the simplest ways of ensuring a balanced diet is to consider foods as being divided into five groups , each group providing certain essential nutrients. If foods from all five groups are included in reasonable quantities each day the diet should be nutritionally adequate.
1. PROTEIN FOODS: (meal, fish, eggs and these) which provide protein, energy, B vitamins and iron ( meat and eggs).
2. MILK: which provides calcium, protein, B vitamins, vitamin A and energy.
3. FRUITS AND VEGETABLES: which provide vitamin C, vitamin A, minerals and fiber.
4. BREAD AND CEREALS: which provide energy, protein, B vitamins, iron, calcium and fiber.
5. BUTTER AND MARGARINE which provide vitamin D, vitamin A and energy.
